Safe, calm, and educational flying – just for you:
Morning flying at Gjelle (Days 1–2)
Close to launch, easy landings – featured in the precision landing program.Precision landings from Hangurstoppen (Days 3–4)
Once you’re getting the hang of it – includes briefings and landing assistance.
More Experienced pilots
Aurland (PP3): precision landings, fjord views, and transport included.
Hike & Fly Rimstigen (PP3): beautiful hike – simple launch and landing.
Breakfast on Lønahorgi (PP2): helicopter ride, snow launch, instructor briefing.
Raft Landing (PP2): precision challenge with potential water landings – rescue boat available.
Airspace
During the week, airspace is especially busy. That’s why it’s crucial to use SafeSky and stay updated through the WhatsApp group.
What’s Going On?
Throughout the week, paragliding and speedflying pilots will be launching from various sites around Voss.
At Vangsvatnet, there’s a tow boat available daily for tandems (with or without wheelchair access) and solo paragliders.
In addition:
Four skydiving aircraft are operating daily from 08:00–21:00 out of Bømoen.
Frequent activity from motorplanes and gliders at Bømoen.
Emergency services and helicopter traffic (including air ambulance) are common, especially since Voss has a local hospital.
Flying Sites in Voss
All flying sites in Voss are open as usual during the week, except Tverrberg, which is closed throughout Veko due to its proximity to Bømoen airspace.
